The 2014 Virginia Veterinary Conference
offers 75 hours of continuing education. If you attend the conference Friday and Saturday, you may earn the necessary 15 hours to renew your Virginia license. It is the responsibility of the attendee to determine what is acceptable as continuing education in your state. By registering for the Virginia Veterinary Conference, you are consenting that your name and address may be given to conference exhibitors, sponsors and other affiliates for their use as a follow-up tool.
Visiting the exhibit hall is an educational experience too

Pre-Registration Deadline: January 31st
Registrations postmarked or received online after January 31 will be charged the late fee.

Spouses & Guests:
Spouse and guest registration includes continental breakfasts, breaks, lunches, Thursday’s Welcome reception and Friday’s Exhibitor Appreciation Reception. Spouse and guest registration does not include admittance to the lectures. Please include spouses and guests on the registrant’s form.
Attendees may opt to download and print speaker notes from our website as part of the registration fee. Or, you may select to have speaker notes mailed to you in an electronic format prior to the conference for a fee of $20. If you prefer to have a hard copy of the notes, they must be purchased in advance and will be with your registration materials when you check in at the VVMA conference desk. Please select your preferred method when completing your registration form.
Hotel Roanoke has SOLD OUT out of sleeping rooms. There are a block of rooms at the Sheraton Roanoke. Please call 540-563-9300 to make your reservation. Don't forget to mention that you are with the conference to take advantage of the $96.00 per night(plus applicable taxes) rate.
Board of Veterinary Medicine Update – Another Benefit for the Conference Attendee
Following the welcome reception Thursday evening, the executive director from the Virginia Board of Veterinary Medicine, Leslie Knachel, MPH, will provide an informational session for all attendees. This year’s presentation will be on the laws and regulations related to activities of licensed veterinary technicians vs. veterinary technician students vs. assistants.
Exhibitor Appreciation Reception - VMRCVM Alumni Society Silent Auction
Join us in the exhibit hall for refreshments and an educational experience. Enjoy mingling with colleagues, exhibitors and students. You will not want to miss out on the silent auction! This is a fundraiser for VMRCVM Alumni Society and fabulous items will be up for bid.
Evaluation Form & Continuing Education Record of Participation
Please complete the evaluation form and return it to the VVMA Registration Desk with your badge holder before you leave the conference. (Badge holders are recycled.) At that time, pick-up your CE Record of Participation form. A minimum of 15 hours is being offered at this conference, if you attend both days. You are responsible for completing the CE form for your records.
