VMCVM faculty provide continuing education lectures at regional Veterinary Medical Association conferences and events made possible with the support
of various companies in the veterinary industry.

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital of the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine highly values our relationship with the practitioners in Southside, Virginia. You serve as an important referral base to our main hospital in Blacksburg and also to our Roanoke Referral Clinic.  In appreciation of this we are delighted to come out again this year to present complimentary Continuing Education lectures. The invitation is attached for you to fax back an RSVP.  You can also call, email us directly, or register directly ONLINE.

We have partnered with the Southside VMA, the VVMA, the VA-MD Vet Med Alumni Society, and Boehringer-Ingelheim to bring one of our faculty members to Danville, Virginia on the evening of **Tuesday, October 27, 2015**. This will include a social & catered dinner starting at 6:30 p.m. and will take place at the Golden Leaf Bistro.

We will provide 1.5 hours of complimentary Continuing Education lectures. This CE is targeted specifically for small animal practitioners and is open to all veterinarians & LVTs in Southside Virginia & the surrounding region. The lecture topic will be “New Anti-Epileptic Drugs and Spinal Cord Neurolocalization” by Theresa Pancotto, DVM, MS, Diplomate ACVIM:Neurology.  Dr. Pancotto received her DVM at Tufts, completed her residency here at VMCVM,  and is now a Clinical Assistant Professor in Neurology with our Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences. We are pleased to have her visit the Southside area of Virginia, so you can get to know her and our Neurology service better.

Please feel free to share this invitation with any of your associates (if applicable), LVTs and fellow practitioners as well.

A special thank you to Gray Hodges of Boehringer-Ingelheim for generously sponsoring this event & providing dinner!
