A CLEANER STAY FROM CHECK-IN TO CHECK-OUT
We know that you are as excited as we are to welcome back travel, even if it looks a little different these days. We also understand that our guests’ expectations for cleaning and disinfection have changed. That’s why Hilton has partnered with Reckitt, makers of Lysol® & Dettol®*, to help deliver an even cleaner stay for our guests with the creation of the Hilton CleanStay program.

Using the same quality brands you trust in your home, Hilton CleanStay builds on our already rigorous cleaning standards to provide complete peace of mind.

Our promise to you is to deliver the same level of reliable and friendly service you’d expect from Hilton, but with the added confidence of industry-leading hygiene practices created to keep you safe.

HOW WE KEEP OUR PUBLIC AREAS CLEAN
Guests will find disinfecting stations with wipes and hand sanitizer available throughout our properties. Additionally, both public and Team Member areas are cleaned at scheduled intervals, including hourly maintenance of high-touch areas like elevators and bathrooms.

Each area is cleaned using approved commercial-grade products followed by additional disinfection using the approved Lysol products.

Will my hotel be actively promoting social distancing guidelines?
We have provided our Team Members with specific guidance on social distancing requirements as travel resumes around the world. We are also reminding guests at check-in and through signage around the hotel to adhere to social distancing so that both guests and Team Members can feel safe and comfortable while on property.

Do I have to check-in at the front desk and come in close contact with Team Members?
If you would like to bypass the front desk, you can take advantage of Digital Check-In and Digital Key through the Hilton Honors App. When you download the app you'll have full access to our Contactless Experience as part of our CleanStay initiative. The app allows you to check-in, choose your room, and use your phone as your key to enter the room to reduce touchpoints during your stay. To use these features, simply join Hilton Honors for free, add your Hilton Honors number to your reservation and start enjoying the benefits of the app.

We are requiring all teammates that have not been vaccinated to wear a mask.

The Lobby Experience: Guests who prefer a contactless arrival experience can download the free Hilton Honors mobile app. Guests who book direct through the app, on Hilton.com, or through a preferred travel advisor can check in, choose their room, check out and even unlock their guest room door with Hilton Digital Key. If they prefer a traditional check-in, we are happy to accommodate them. Our front office staff is behind plexiglass and awaiting your arrival. Housekeeping Service Options: The frequency of housekeeping services is now based upon guest preference, recognizing that some may not want staff entering their room.

Reimagined Public Spaces: The frequency with which we clean the public areas has increased and physical set-ups may have changed. For instance, the fitness centers may be closed multiple times a day for cleaning.

Event Ready: We are taking extra precautions with our meeting space. We are cleaning all touch points of the meeting room, IE tables, chairs, podiums, door pulls, etc. We have purchased an Electrostatic Disinfectant Sprayer and are treating meeting rooms each day. If you would prefer our staff wear masks in the meeting space, we are happy to facilitate your request. For your convenience, we have sanitizing stations throughout the Hotel and Conference Center.

Conference Safety Disclosure:

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, the Virginia Veterinary Conference constitutes an agreement by the conference participant to abide by the VVMA's and the Hotel Roanoke's efforts to comply with the current CDC recommendations and any state of Virginia requirements. The participant will comply with certain health and safety requests while attending the event as requested by the VVMA and the Hotel Roanoke (e.g., wearing a face covering, engaging in appropriate social distancing, not attending the conference if feeling sick or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, etc.). Noncompliance with VVMA's requests could result in expulsion from the conference without refund.

By registering for and attending the 2022 Virginia Veterinary Conference, the conference participant agree to hold the VVMA and/or the Hotel Roanoke harmless from any and all claims, judgement and expenses of exposure to COVID-19 from attending this conference February 24-26, 2022.
