Winchester, VA: Veterinary Assistant position available at Meadow Branch Animal Hospital in Winchester, VA!

The function of the veterinary assistant at Meadow Branch Animal Hospital (MBAH) is to support the Veterinarians and Technicians in many ways, but not limited to: assist with surgical procedures and to oversee care of hospitalized patients. Ancillary responsibilities of this job include drawing up prescribed medications, discharging hospitalized our surgical patients, assisting with appointments, patient restraint, basic husbandry, and educating clients on preventative care measures and other recommendations.

This position is full-time (38-40 hours per week), Monday-Friday, with 10 hour shifts. Pay starting at $15.00 per hour.
