"Vaccine Clinics vs. Virginia Department of Health Rabies Clinics"

Description: Legislation passed in July of 2024 allows for microchipping and additional animal health vaccines to be administered at an approved local health department and governing body. Virginia Code § 3.2-6521. Board staff will discuss and compare vaccine clinics held at an establishment and those held outside an establishment at a VDH-approved event, focusing on record keeping and other requirements.
